Over 82,000 foreign components found in Russian weapons used against Ukraine in week – Zelenskyy

This was reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.  

Throughout this week, Russia carried out hundreds of attacks against our people using various types of weapons: about 1,200 guided aerial bombs, nearly 870 strike drones, and over 80 rockets of different types.  

According to him, each Shahed drone and aerial bomb used by Russia contains, in particular, components supplied in violation of sanctions. Over 82,000 foreign parts have been found in these weapons, the president emphasized.  

"Every day, we work with our partners to make decisions aimed at support that saves lives: the supply of air defense systems, investments in our defense production, strengthening sanctions against Russia. And we continue our work to bring closer a just peace and ensure reliable security guarantees," Zelenskyy stressed.
