Official events are planned in Russia as Kremlin intensifies propaganda campaign before new mobilization wave – Ukraine’s intelligence
A representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Andriy Yusov, said that the planned official events in Russia are aimed at strengthening propaganda before the announcement of a new wave of mobilization in Russia
Andriy Yusov said this during a telethon.
"Propaganda needs to be fueled by something. This series of public statements, assurances, shouts, concerts, they will probably celebrate 150,000 neutralized Russian occupiers by that time," said the representative of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate.
Andriy Yusov added that in this way the Kremlin plans to strengthen its own narratives before mobilization.
"In particular, this propaganda activity is preparing the population for a new wave of mobilization. They are being told why they should silently go to the slaughter, following some incomprehensible instructions from the Kremlin’s old men. These are probably not citizens, but rather Russian subjects, because citizens would defend their own rights and raise questions. Perhaps it will happen too," he added.

Earlier, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Andriy Cherniak, said that Russia would not be able to launch a large-scale offensive in eastern Ukraine by February 24 due to a lack of resources.

In particular, Vadym Skibitskyi, deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, said that Russia is ready to start a new wave of mobilization, but this process will not have a major impact on the frontline, but will further exhaust the aggressor country.
