Now is the time to end Russia's imperial period - Polish political scientist Korejba

“In Poland, we see a nationwide consensus that Ukraine is waging a war not only for its survival and its future, but in general for the security architecture of international relations in Central and Eastern Europe. The time has come when it is possible to set Russia back 300 years in development and end the imperial period in the history of Russia. The period that brought grief and destruction and civilizational backwardness to all the peoples of Central and Eastern Europe,” the Polish political scientist.

Jakub Korejba emphasized that the struggle is not only for freedom, but for values, a way of life, and for everyone in Central and Eastern Europe to be able to live without the Russian threat.

“Ukraine is now living its 1920s, forming an image of the future and fighting for its preservation, as well as for our freedom. We understand that yesterday was Georgia, today is Ukraine, and tomorrow is Poland, because the Russian mentality does not change, it is impossible to reform Russia, it is possible only to defeat it. And now there is such a chance, there is a people and a country that are ready to do it, and Ukrainians need to be supported in this in every possible way, because any compromise with Russia will be tactical in nature, and Moscow's strategic plans have not changed for 300 years,” the journalist explained.
