Ukraine has diplomatically outplayed Russia: political analyst Mahda
Yevhen Mahda, Executive Director of the Institute of World Policy, notes Russia will try to achieve some success on the frontline until the US military aid to Ukraine starts to flow again in a powerful stream
He expressed this opinion on Espreso TV.
"In my opinion, the Russians made a lot of efforts to prevent Ukraine from receiving an aid package from the United States. But their efforts failed. Diplomatically, though not without problems, Ukraine has outplayed Russia on this issue because Ukraine has managed to restore bipartisan support, which has been unstable in recent months. But we have to realize that Russia will now try to achieve some success on the frontline until American military aid starts flowing to us in a renewed and powerful way. Accordingly, Russian propaganda will not end. Russia will now simultaneously put pressure on the frontline, seek to destroy the Ukrainian energy sector and undermine confidence in the Ukrainian government," said the Executive Director of the Institute of World Policy.
Yevhen Mahda added that Russia will take complex actions aimed at demoralizing Ukrainian society, which should be taken into account and dealt with.

Russian forces are expected to intensify their offensive and missile strikes on Ukraine in the coming weeks, taking advantage of the time gap before new U.S. aid arrives.
