Three Ukrainian DJs rank among world's best
Ukrainian DJs Korolova, Artbat, and Miss Monique have been ranked among the top 100 electronic music artists in the world. The list was topped by David Guetta
The ranking was published by the British magazine DJ Magazine.
The electronic dance music publication has released its annual list of the world's best DJs. First place was taken by French DJ David Guetta. His musical career has spanned about 40 years.
In second place is Dutch DJ Martin Garrix, third is Brazilian musician Alok, fourth is the Belgian-Greek duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and fifth is Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren.
The ranking also includes Calvin Harris (16th place), Tiësto (21st place), Norwegian DJ Alan Walker (24th place), and Swedish House Mafia (34th place).
The ranking, which includes 100 performers from all over the world, featured three Ukrainians — Korolova, Artbat, and Miss Monique.
DJ Korolova (Olha Korolova) made the top 100 for the second time. She ranked 50th, moving up from the 60th position she held last year. Her most famous tracks include Be Strong, Shining, and Heal My Mind.
The duo Artbat landed at 73rd place. The publication describes the tandem of Artur Kryvenko and Vitalii Limarenko as "a mixture of energy, vibes, and emotions."
Miss Monique (Olesia Arkusha) ranked 75th. According to the publication, she performs "progressive house, melodic techno."
