This was reported by the US Transportation Command.
The report says that a batch of more than 60 Bradleys set sail from the shores of North Charleston (South Carolina) to Ukraine.
The Bradley shipment "will provide the Ukrainian forces with additional offensive and defensive capabilities to protect their borders against Russia’s illegal invasion."
"The situation in Ukraine really brought to the forefront the importance of logistics and the complexity of power projection and sustainment. Our support to Ukraine would not be possible without the strong relationships we have with our Allies and Partners that provided the access, basing, and overflight to facilitate the delivery of aid," said Air Force General Jacqueline Van Ovost, commander of USTRANSCOM, in an interview with Joint Force Quarterly.
In two large-scale military aid packages, the United States announced the transfer of more than 100 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, which are called "tank killers," to Ukraine. The Ukrainian military is currently undergoing several weeks of training on these systems in Germany.
On January 24, the Pentagon reported that the first batch of American-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicles should arrive in Ukraine in the "relatively near future," within weeks.
