More deaths of Russian commanders will affect Russian military leadership's morale - military expert Zgurets
If Russian commanders continue to die in the rear, like the commander of the Krasnodar submarine, Stanislav Rzhytskyi, this will have a significant impact on the mood of the Russian military leadership
Serhiy Zgurets, director of the Defense Express information and consulting company, said this on Espreso TV.
He commented on the shooting of the former commander of the Krasnodar submarine Stanislav Rzhitsky, who may have been involved in the Kalibr attack on Vinnytsia last year. He was also the deputy head of the city's mobilization department.
"I would say that this is karma on the one hand, but on the other hand, I want to believe that the Russians understand that everyone involved in strikes on the territory of Ukraine that caused civilian casualties will have the same fate as this official who was killed while jogging," Zgurets said.
The expert emphasized that he did not know whose hands this case was, but in any case, the result is important.
"If these results are scaled up, it will significantly affect the mood of the Russian military leadership," he concluded.
