Missile hits village in Russia during attack on Ukraine - media
Powerful explosion damaged a street in the village of Petropavlovka, Voronezh region of Russia, local residents report a fallen missile

A video of the explosion crater was posted online, and a hit was reported at around 9 a.m. in the village of Petropavlovka. It is not mentioned what exactly it was, what caused the explosion, or whether there were any casualties.
One of the residents in the video said that the explosion destroyed an entire street. According to him, a rocket fell.
The village of Petropavlovka is located near the border with Ukraine.
On the morning of January 2, Russian troops attacked Ukraine from strategic aviation. A series of explosions occurred in Kyiv and Kharkiv. These attacks resulted in deaths and injuries, and destroyed buildings
The Russian propaganda agency TASS also reported about the accident, citing the Russian Defense Ministry.
"During the air force flight over the village of Petropavlovka in the Voronezh region, there was an unplanned munition drop," the report states.
It is noted that six private buildings were damaged as a result of the incident. Reportedly, there were no casualties.
