This was reported on the Facebook page of the brigade, the Espreso informed.
"Complete defeat. At the direction of the UAV operators of the 71st separate airborne ranger brigade, our artillery covered the enemy fortifications near Bakhmut. It was so accurate that there were almost no occupants left there," the statement reads.
Soldiers claims, drones hovered over the positions of the Russian forces and adjusted their fire. They also filmed the course of the attack in real-time.
"They recorded the Russian losses, at least a dozen. Their positions were cleared by the devastating fire to such an extent that the rangers of the Air Assault Forces just had to go there. This is what they did later," the brigade added.
For reference. The 71st Separate Ranger Brigade was created immediately after the beginning of the large-scale intervention of Russian forces on Ukrainian land. Since then, the brigade's combat units have been hunting the Russian forces in the hottest spots of the frontline.
On December 2, military "rangers" near Bakhmut smashed to pieces a group of Wagner forces.
On December 14, soldiers of the 71st separate hunting ranger brigade defeated Russian positions near Bakhmut.
On December 25, the soldiers of the "ten" stormed Russian positions: eliminated a party of Russian forces and captured a dozen Russian soldiers.
