Sweden's SVT media reported.

Residents of two settlements reported the suspicious flights, and when police arrived at the scene, they also spotted the drones.

“It’s a larger model, similar to the one observed over Denmark and Skåne,” said duty investigator Mattias Lundgren.

Police filed a report citing violations of aviation and security facility protection laws.

According to the police coordination center, there were two drones with red and green flashing lights. No objects have been recovered and no suspects have been identified. Police believe the incident may be linked to recent events in Denmark and Norway.

The area where the drones were observed is located just a few kilometers from the naval base in Karlskrona.

The military said they had not received any official reports of the incident.

  • On the evening of September 22 (Kyiv time), Copenhagen Airport was shut down due to drone activity, and drones were also spotted over a military site in Oslo.
  • On September 25, Denmark’s Aalborg Airport, used for both civilian and military flights, was closed because of drones in its airspace. On the night of September 26, the airport was closed again after reports of suspicious objects.
