Ukrainian forces destroy Russia’s most advanced tank, worth $4.5 million

Footage of the strike was shared on the Unmanned Systems Forces’ Telegram channel on August 17. 

According to the Ukrainain military, the tank, valued at approximately $4.5 million, was destroyed in a key frontline area.

"Operators of the 429th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Systems 'Achilles' used FPV drones to immobilize and destroy a T-90M Proryv. Adopted in 2020, this is Russia’s most modern and expensive tank," the statement said.

Ukrainian forces also struck another tank hidden in a forest, a BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher, a Tiger armored fighting vehicle, and a KamAZ truck.

• On the same day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported significant progress in several areas of Donetsk region, clearing multiple settlements and inflicting losses on Russian manpower and equipment.
