In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders thwarted 4 attacks near 4 settlements. Russian troops launched air strikes near 2 settlements in the Donetsk region. More than 20 settlements were subjected to Russian artillery and mortar fire.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian troops keep holding back the Russian army near 3 settlements in the Donetsk region. In the Kherson direction, Russian troops did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. Ivanivka, Kherson region, came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.
During the day, Ukrainian aviation struck 7 concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment and 2 air defense systems.
Ukrainian missile troops destroyed 1 artillery unit and 2 air defense systems.
Over March 20, 67 combat clashes took place at the front. Russian troops attempted to attack the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces 52 times, 18 of them in the Novopavlivka direction.
