Ukrainian Air Force targets Russian drone launch site in Kursk region
The Defense Ministry’s press service reported the information, citing the Main Directorate for Lifecycle Support of Armaments and Military Equipment.
The drones in the system are noted for their high speed and maneuverability.
“These ‘birds’ carry enough combat payload to destroy armored vehicles with additional protection. They can operate in manual or semi-automatic control modes,” the Defense Ministry stated.
Additionally, the drones have enhanced resistance to enemy electronic warfare and can optionally be equipped with devices for a wide range of missions.
The developers explained that the system was named after a historical figure—the Sarmatian warrior queen Amaga.
