"The Russians are firing at Huliaipole, Malynivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, trying to cut off the Robotyne ledge. The defense forces heroically hold back the enemy at a heavy cost. This strategic ledge is under the control of our defenders. The Russians are resorting to new tactics. They are throwing their soldiers as 'meat', trying to break through in small groups," noted Kyrylchuk.

Currently, Russian troops are trying to use a new shameful tactic. Over the past week, the need for gas masks for Ukrainian defenders in the Zaporizhzhia direction has increased significantly.

"The Russians are using drones to drop gas-filled munitions to flush our defenders out of their dugouts and defenses. This is done in order to force our military to come out into the open, where the enemy uses FPV strike drones to attack. That is why our defenders urgently need gas masks," emphasized Kyrylchuk.

• Over the last day, August 5, 133 combat clashes took place at the frontline. Russian troops attacked the Pokrovsk direction most intensively, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 41 attacks.
