DeepState analysts noted that Russian troops have advanced in Pivnichne, Zalizne, Zhelanne, Serhiivka, Ivanivka, near Lysychne and Zhelanne in the Donetsk region.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defense Forces withdrew from the Stupky Holubovski-2 ravine in the Bakhmut district.
- Since the beginning of the day on August 4, 103 combat clashes have taken place at the frontline. Russian troops are attacking in ten directions, most actively in the Pokrovsk direction.
