64 combat clashes occur at front, most intense in Pokrovsk, Toretsk sectors - Ukraine's General Staff

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding back the offensive of the Russian invaders. Russian forces continue to devastate Ukrainian cities and villages with air strikes and artillery. The most intense fighting is occurring in the Pokrovsk and Toretsk sectors.

The border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions have also come under Russian fire, with strikes reported near the settlements of Sopych, Popivka, Taratutyne, Iskryskivshchyna, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Pozhnia, and Karpovychi.

In the Kharkiv sector, there has been one firefight near Vovchansk since the beginning of the day.

In the Kupyansk sector, Russian troops attempted to storm Ukrainian positions near Stelmakhivka, Berestove, and Petropavlivka four times. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled three of these attacks, and the battle continues.

In the Lyman sector, Russia has launched attacks in the areas of Makiivka, Nevske, and Terny. There have been a total of five combat engagements in this sector since the start of the day.

In the Siversk sector, the Russian army continues to attempt to breach Ukrainian defenses near Verkhniokamianske, Ivano-Daryivka, Pereizne, and Vyimka. Russia conducted seven assault attacks in this area, with Ukrainian defenders successfully repelling five of them. The fighting in this sector is ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops have attempted to push Ukrainian units from their positions four times since the start of the day. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled two assaults near Chasiv Yar and Ivanivske. Two additional attacks are ongoing.

In the Toretsk sector, Russia has attacked Ukrainian positions 15 times with the support of bomber aircraft. Seven firefights are currently underway near Toretsk and New York. Today, Russia has dropped ten guided aerial bombs on Toretsk.

The situation in the Pokrovsk sector remains tense, with fierce fighting occurring in the areas of Kalynove, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Ivanivka, Zhelanne, Novoselivka Persha, Karlivka, and Yasnobrodivka. Russia has made 21 attempts to storm Ukrainian positions so far, with fighting continuing in ten locations.

In the Kurakhove sector, Russian forces have attacked Ukrainian units twice today, attempting to advance near Heorhiivka and Kostiantynivka.

In the Vremivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled two Russian assaults towards Vodiane and Rozdolne. Russia also tried to advance in the area of Robotyne but was fiercely repelled. Additionally, the Russian army used aviation in the Zaliznychne and Novoandriivka areas.

In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russian forces made two unsuccessful attempts to storm Ukrainian positions.
