Russian troops attempt to break through Ukrainian defense of Robotyne — DeepState

The non-governmental Ukrainian project DeepState reported the information, based on open data.

"The enemy advanced near Ivanivske and Verbove. Fighting continues to the south and west of Robotyne," OSINT analysts say.

According to DeepState, "since yesterday (i.e. since February 17, the day Ukrainian forces withdrew from Avdiivka - ed.), the enemy has been actively attacking the Robotyne salient."

"The Russians are trying to enter Robotyne itself, fighting for a stronghold south of the village. The occupiers have pushed through the defense of southwestern Verbove, stabilization measures are underway. Without the deployment of reserves, a bad situation may arise - both our side and the enemy realize this," the statement said.

• The Robotyne salient is the most notable achievement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Zaporizhzhia region, gained during the counteroffensive of the summer of 2023.
