Russian forces sank an armored vehicle with its crew during an attempt to cross to the western bank of the Oskil River in the Kharkiv region
The Khortytsia Operational Strategic Grouping reported the information.
It happened in the Kupiansk direction during a Russian attempt to reach the western bank of the Oskil River. The Russian army tried to cross the water near the village of Masiutivka, but the armored vehicle—specifically a BMP-2—sank along with its crew.
Also in this direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled two enemy assault attempts. First, enemy infantry on armored vehicles—a tank and a BMP—tried to break through to Ukrainian positions. During the second assault attempt, another tank and BMP tried to bring their infantry into Ukrainian positions.
As a result of combat actions, two BMPs were damaged, two tanks destroyed, and four Russian soldiers killed, with three more wounded. The enemy assault was repelled, and no Ukrainian positions were lost.
