Ukrainian forces advance along border of Kharkiv, Luhansk regions — ISW

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported the information.
According to geolocated footage, Ukrainian forces recently advanced west of Makiivka, which is located on the border of the Kharkiv and Luhansk regions.
Meanwhile, Russian occupying forces continue offensive operations in several directions. ISW reports slight Russian advances on the outskirts of Kupiansk, Pokrovsk, and Kurakhove, in Toretsk, as well as in the Kursk and Sumy regions.
"The rate of Russian advances in Ukraine has been steadily declining since November 2024, in part due to successful Ukrainian counterattacks in eastern Ukraine," ISW added.
- Since the beginning of Sunday, April 6, 135 combat clashes have taken place on the frontline. The most intense fighting occurs in the Pokrovsk, Lyman, Toretsk, and Kursk directions.
