Russia will not have tactical success in Bakhmut direction – UAV strike company commander
Yuriy Fedorenko, commander of the Achilles company of the 92nd Detached Assault Brigade named after Ivan Sirko, notes that Russia has not had any tactical successes near Bakhmut over the past two weeks
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"The enemy maintains the capability to execute strike and assault operations, consistently conducting offensive actions in certain areas. Despite this, there have been no tactical successes on the battlefield for the enemy in the past two weeks. The Ukrainian Defense Forces adeptly identify and engage the enemy promptly, resulting in damage and significant losses to the occupiers' personnel. The Ukrainian Armed Forces effectively target and eliminate both lightly armored and armored vehicles as well as the enemy's artillery. They are holding the line, the enemy will not have tactical success in the future," emphasized Fedorenko.
According to the commander, Russian forces recently conducted quite active assault actions near Klishchiivka.
"The enemy deployed armored personnel carriers and tanks, a lot of equipped attack aircraft, but had no tactical success. The Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to repel the attack. Our unit alone managed to destroy 4 infantry fighting vehicles, hit a tank, destroy an armored personnel carrier and 2 more tanks. FPV drones played a significant role in repelling the enemy attacks," added Fedorenko.
- Over the past day, Ukrainian defense forces repelled 76 Russian attacks across 7 different directions, with the majority occurring in the Avdiivka direction, totaling 27. Additionally, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 780 Russian soldiers.
- Oles Malyarevych, a sergeant with the Achilles company of the 92nd separate assault brigade, noted that the Ukrainian defense line is holding strong in the Klishchiivka area.
