Russia launches Burevestnik missile from Arctic archipelago — Norwegian intel
Russia has tested the Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile. The launch took place from the Novaya Zemlya archipelago in the Arkhangelsk region of the Russian Federation, in the Arctic Ocean

Vice Admiral Nils Andreas Stensønes, the head of Norwegian intelligence, stated this, Reuters reports.
"We can confirm that Russia has conducted a new test launch of the long-range cruise missile Skyfall (Burevestnik) on Novaya Zemlya," he noted.
Previously, Moscow had announced a successful test of this missile. The Russians did not specify where the launch occurred but said the weapon "can penetrate any defensive shield."
- The test of the Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile was conducted on September 21, and it allegedly covered 14,000 km, remaining in the air for about 15 hours.
