Russia is now trying to use its soldiers “sparingly” — Ukraine’s Rubizh brigade
Volodymyr Nazarenko, head of artillery intelligence for Ukraine's 4th Rubizh Brigade and captain of the National Guard of Ukraine, noted that despite the losses, Russian forces keep pushing along the entire front line
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
“The enemy's tactics are driven by a desire to leverage their superiority in manpower, ammunition, and artillery. The Russians are suffering huge losses, but the moment has come when they are beginning to feel the impact. We can say that the enemy is now trying to use its soldiers ‘sparingly.’ However, despite these losses, the Russians keep pushing,” emphasized Nazarenko.
According to the head of artillery intelligence of the 4th Rubizh Brigade, weather conditions significantly impact Russian troops’ tactics, particularly their logistics and camouflage capabilities. In the summer, the main tactics involved small infantry assaults, with Russians attempting to camouflage in the vegetation and move in small groups. As the weather deteriorates, they are increasingly relying on advancing with heavy, light, and armored vehicles.
“The Russians line up such vehicles in columns, and the armored vehicles are additionally outfitted with frames, shields, and other protective structures. However, the larger the armored column, the more quickly it becomes noticeable, and the faster aerial reconnaissance and armored reconnaissance vehicles detect it. Then, we start targeting these columns,” added Nazarenko.
