Ukraine reports 102 combat clashes along frontline on November 7, mostly in Kurakhove sector

On Thursday, November 7, 102 combat engagements took place on the Russian-Ukrainian front: Russia is attacking most actively in the Kurakhove sector

Russian troops continue to make their main efforts in the Kurakhove sector, where they conducted almost half of all attacks in Ukraine. In addition, the invaders are active in the Pokrovsk and Lyman directions.

The border areas of Sumy region continue to suffer from Russian air strikes. In particular, terrorists have been attacking the areas of Yunakivka, Zhuravka and Vodolahy with guided aerial bombs. A number of localities in Chernihiv and Sumy regions, including Volfyno, Luhivka, Pavlivka, Zhuravka, Novenke, Vodolahy, Velyka Pysarivka, Leonivka and Khrinivka, suffered from the shelling of the terrorist army today. Russia also carried out twelve air strikes, using 15 guided aerial bombs, in the Kursk region.

Frontline situation

In the Kharkiv sector, occupying Russian forces stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops twice near Vovchansk. One battle is ongoing, the situation is under control. The enemy also attacked Tsapivka and Kozacha Lopan with bombs and Vysoka Yaruha with unguided missiles.

The enemy attacked Ukrainian positions in the Kupyansk sector three times. Ukrainian defenders are repelling Russian attacks near Kruhlyakivka and Lozova. Fighting continues in two locations.

In the Lyman sector, Russian military units attacked in the areas of Druzhelyubivka, Hrekivka, Makiivka, Katerynivka, Terny, Torske, Serebryanka, Bilohorivka and Hryhorivka. Ukrainian troops have repelled nine attacks since the beginning of the day, four engagements are ongoing.

In the Siversky sector, fighting continues in the vicinity of Pereizne.

In the Kramatorsk sector, four assault operations are ongoing near Stupochky and Bila Hora. Two attacks have already been repelled.

In the Toretsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks near Toretsk. Another battle is underway.

In the Pokrovsk sector, since the beginning of the day, Russian troops have made 15 attempts to push Ukrainian troops from their positions in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Krutyi Yar and Selydove. The defense forces, restraining the enemy's onslaught, have already repelled a total of 13 Russian attacks in the area. Others are continuing. The enemy suffers significant losses in manpower. Russian forces dropped two guided aerial bombs on Yelizavetivka and Rivne.

In the Kurakhove sector, Russian invaders, in some cases with the support of aviation, have already attacked Defense Forces of Ukraine 40 times, trying to advance in the areas of Illinka, Novoselydivka, Kreminna Balka, Novodmytrivka, Sontsivka, Maksymilianivka, Antonivka, Dalnie and Katerynivka. Currently, 29 firefights are ongoing.

In the Vremivka sector, Russian army conducted four attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions near Trudove, Rozlyv and Sukhy Yaly. Two firefights are ongoing. Russian occupants carried out air strikes in the areas of Velyka Novosilka and Novodarivka.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian enemy launched air strikes with guided bombs near Zaporizhzhia, Mala Tokmachka, Novopavlivka, Novoandriivka, Stepnohirsk, dropping nine bombs.

In the Prydniprovsky sector, the Russian army made two unsuccessful assaults on the positions of Ukrainian units.

  • Over the past day, the Russian occupation forces lost 1,400 soldiers and a number of pieces of military equipment on the Russian-Ukrainian front.
