This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defense of Poland, Paweł Bejda, in an interview with RMF24.

"We have no choice. The situation at the border is serious. I am talking about the Polish-Belarusian and Polish-Russian borders... This will be one of the elements of the 'Eastern Shield'," Bejda noted.

According to him, Poland currently does not have anti-personnel mines, but it has the capability to produce them.

"It’s about an order for several hundred thousand, we could be talking about a million," emphasized the Polish Deputy Minister of Defense.

  • Poland's Deputy Minister of National Defense, Paweł Zalewski, reported the resumption of U.S. military aid deliveries to Ukraine from the Polish hub.
