Kreminna is hottest spot in Luhansk region currently - Sieverodonetsk official
Roman Vlasenko, head of the Sieverodonetsk District Military Administration, said that active hostilities continue in the Luhansk region around Kreminna
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"In military terms, the situation is more or less stable. The occupying army is trying to put more pressure in the Kupyansk direction, in particular near Makiivka, Nevske and Hrekivka. But the situation is stabilized. The situation is more or less stable in Serebryanka forestry, Lyman and Terny, where our troops are holding more favorable positions and actively counterattacking, causing losses to the Russian army. The situation in Bilohorivka also remains stable," noted Vlasenko.
According to the head of the Sieverodonetsk district military administration, the Russian army is using all types of artillery and aviation, destroying infrastructure and logistics, which is worsening the situation in Luhansk region every day.
"There are fewer and fewer people left. Last week we managed to evacuate a few people who were leaving for the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. The most complicated area in the Sieverodonetsk region is Kreminna, where active hostilities are ongoing. Local residents have been without electricity for several weeks, which makes the situation even more critical," emphasized Vlasenko.
- Since the beginning of the day on July 9, 128 combat clashes have taken place at the front. Russian troops are storming the Pokrovsk direction the most, where they are losing a lot of troops and equipment.
- Russian troops completely destroyed Popasna and the surrounding settlements in Luhansk region, which was occupied in 2022. No reconstruction work has been carried out there for more than two years.
