Iran’s pledge to end conflict with Israel as trustworthy as Putin’s promises on Ukraine — Israeli reserve officer
Iran's statements that they do not want to escalate the conflict with Israel are perceived like Putin's words about being ready to end the war in Ukraine
Zoya Sever, Israeli citizen, volunteer in Ukraine, artist, and reserve officer of the IDF (Israel Defense Forces), said this on Espreso TV.
"I don't know how Israel perceives this (Iran's statements - ed.), but I think it is taken as seriously as when Putin says he is ready to stop," she said.
Zoya Sever noted that Israel's goal has not yet been achieved.
"That is, let them talk, but Israel's goal was to destroy Iran's nuclear weapons and nuclear capabilities. Therefore, I don't think the question now is just whether they are ready to stop. The question is also whether they are ready to stop, whether the goal has been achieved, and whether it is possible to stop at this stage," she added.
On June 15, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated that Tehran does not seek to expand the conflict with Israel to neighboring countries, but is ready to take self-defense measures if necessary.
