This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff for April 11.

Frontline update and attacks on Ukrainian territory

In total, Russia launched 53 missile strikes, 84 air strikes, and 61 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Multi-storey and private houses, as well as other infrastructure facilities, were destroyed and damaged.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. Over 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops did not conduct any assault actions. About 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops did not conduct any assault actions.  They also carried out an air strike near the settlement of Tverdokhlibove, Luhansk region. About 10 settlements suffered from artillery and mortar attacks.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 15 attacks near 6 settlements across Luhansk and Donetsk regions, where Russian troops unsuccessfully tried to improve their tactical position. Russian troops launched air strikes near 3 settlements in the Donetsk region. Over 10 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders thwarted 5 attacks near 3 settlements. Russian troops launched air strikes near 2 settlements in the Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements were subjected to Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian troops keep holding back the Russian army near 3 settlements in the Donetsk region. Despite 15 attempts, Russian forces, supported by aviation, were unable to alter the tactical situation. They also carried out air strikes near the settlements of Kostyantynivka and Vodiane in the Donetsk region. Russian artillery and mortar fire targeted over 10 settlements.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian troops launched 2 unsuccessful attacks near 2 settlements. They carried out air strikes near Vremivka, Donetsk region, and Novodanylivka, Zaporizhzhia region. Over 20 settlements came under Russian artillery and mortar fire.

In the Kherson direction, Russia persists in attempting to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Two unsuccessful attempts to storm Ukrainian troop positions were made during the day. Over 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire.

Strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russian troops

During the day, Ukrainian aviation struck 12 concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment, 1 anti-aircraft missile system.

Ukrainian missile troops struck 2 Russian personnel concentrations.

  • During the day on April 10, at least 55 combat clashes took place between the two armies at the front. Ukrainian forces eliminated 810 Russian soldiers, 5 tanks and 48 artillery systems.
