Russia loses 810 soldiers, 5 tanks, and 48 artillery systems in one day – General Staff

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on April 11.

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 11.04.24 approximately amounted to:

Russia is more active in the Bakhmut direction, while the AFU repulse 23 attacks in a day

The operational situation in the northern Ukrainian border remains unchanged.

Russian army maintains a military presence in the area of the northeastern Ukrainian border, conducts subversive activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russians did not conduct any offensives.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers rebuffed 3 hostile attacks near Terny, Donetsk region, where the Russian troops tried to break through the Ukrainian defense.

In the Bakhmut sector, Ukraine repelled 23 attacks near the towns of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and 4 more settlements in the Donetsk region, where Russia tried to drive Ukrainian units out of their positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repulsed 6 attacks in the areas of 5 localities in the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukraine's defense forces are holding back their enemy in the areas of 3 settlements, where Russia's troops tried to break through the Ukrainian defense 16 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian army attacked the Ukrainian positions 1 time near Staromayorske in the Donetsk region.

In the Kherson direction, the occupation forces did not abandon their intention to drive Ukrainian units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, over the past day, they unsuccessfully attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops 6 times.

Russian army conducts 8 missile and 93 air strikes in Ukraine

Over the past 24 hours, there were 55 combat clashes. The enemy executed 8 missile strikes and 93 air strikes, along with 78 attacks from MLRS targeting our troops and civilian areas.

During the night, Russian forces launched a major assault on Ukraine, deploying cruise missiles and Shahed-136/131-type UAVs. Initial reports suggest that Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 37 out of 40 UAVs. Details regarding the missiles are still being confirmed.

Throughout the day, airstrikes hit various settlements including Derhachi, Lyptsi, Vovchansk, Kurylivka, and Kruhlyakivka in the Kharkiv region; Bilohorivka, Serebryanka Forestry in the Luhansk region; and Spirne, Verkhnyokamianske, Ivanivka, Oleksandropil, Semenivka, Novokalynove, Berdychi, Netaylove, Krasnohorivka, Kostyantynivka, Vuhledar, Urozhaine, and Staromayorske in the Donetsk region; Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Artillery fire targeted over 120 settlements across the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.

Defense Forces target 9 Russian personnel positions and air defense systems

In the last 24 hours, the Defense Forces' Air Force targeted areas with concentrated personnel, weaponry, military equipment, and the enemy's anti-aircraft missile complex, artillery system, and EW station.

Missile force units inflicted damage on 9 personnel concentration areas and the enemy's anti-aircraft missile system.
