"During the elimination of the UAV, fragments of the device fell on the building of the checkpoint of the automobile plant in the Yelabuga district. As a result, one worker died. A total of 13 people were injured. One is in serious condition. All received the necessary medical assistance promptly. A fire broke out at the scene, and its elimination was also promptly carried out by the relevant services," he said.
In addition, the Telegram channel Exilenova+ spread information about a fire that occurred on the territory of the Alabuga special economic zone in Tatarstan. The fire probably occurred in the area of the Aurus and Sollers car factory buildings. One of the videos, probably filmed in the Yelabuga area, shows thick smoke in a car park. According to Exilenova+, the enterprise that was attacked was shot down.
"Given the previous unsuccessful attack on one of the buildings of "Alabuga Polytechnic", where Shahed (Geran) type UAVs are manufactured, one can estimate the approximate direction of movement of the UAV during the new attack. Unfortunately, it was shot down," the message reads.
