169 clashes at Russian-Ukrainian front: Russia attacks in Kurakhove, Pokrovsk sectors

On November 3, Russian troops attacked the Ukrainian Defense Forces' positions 169 times. Russia is most active in the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk sectors

The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ General Staff reported the information.

According to available information, yesterday Russia launched three missile strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas using five missiles, as well as 90 airstrikes, including the deployment of 142 guided aerial bombs. In addition, there were over 4,400 shelling incidents, 98 of which were carried out with multiple rocket launcher systems, and 1,564 kamikaze drones were used for strikes.

Russian forces conducted airstrikes, targeting 29 settlements across Ukraine.

Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out three strikes on areas where Russian personnel and military equipment were concentrated, and also targeted three artillery systems and an operational-tactical missile complex.

Frontline update 

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russian army conducted four offensive and assault actions near Vovchansk.

The number of combat clashes in the Kupyansk direction reached 16 within a day. The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled Russian attacks near Holubivka, Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kolisnykivka, Berestove, Zahryzove, Kruhliakivka, Vyshneve, and Pershotravneve.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian forces halted nine Russian  attacks. Russian soldiers focused their main efforts in the areas of Hrekivka, Terny, and Dibrova.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian aviation targeted Toretsk, Druzhba, Petrivka, and Dyliivka. Additionally, Russia launched four attempts to advance near Toretsk.

Ukrainian defenders repelled 27 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction over the past day. Russian troops attempted to advance near Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Promin, Sukhyi Yar, Novohrodivka, and Vyshneve.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back Russian troops in the Kurakhove direction. Russia tried to break through Ukrainian defensive lines 27 times near Illinka, Ostrivske, Antonivka, and Katerynivka.

Ukrainian defenders stopped 12 Russian attacks in the Trudove area in the Vremivka direction.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russian units made one attempt to advance toward Novodanylivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the invading Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions three times without success.

On the border with Belarus, the operational situation remains without significant changes. No signs of enemy offensive group formations have been detected.

On the border with the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, Russia maintains a military presence, conducts reconnaissance activities, and artillery shelling.

Ukraine's Defense Forces continue operations in the Kursk direction, where Russia carried out 28 airstrikes over the past day, using 40 guided aerial bombs, and Ukrainian defenders repelled 13 attacks.
