Melitopol's morgues are full of Russian corpses - news reports
Local news outlets report that people in temporarily occupied Melitopol have not been able to bury their relatives for a week because the morgues are filled to capacity with the corpses of Russian soldiers.
This is reported by the local publication Ria-Melitopol.
"After the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the military base at the airfield in Melitopol with a missile strike, the occupiers began to take the corpses of the soldiers to the morgue," - it is noted.
Relatives of the deceased told reporters that the corpses are even lying in the corridor of the morgue on Khmelnytskyi Avenue.
Ukrainian forensic experts refused to cooperate with the Russian occupiers. Therefore, it is currently impossible to bury a person in Melitopol, because a forensic medical examination certificate is required, but there is no one to write it out.
"Relatives are told that they can bury, but then the body will have to be exhumed to confirm the fact of a non-violent death," - it is added.
