Offensive of Russian troops: a map of hostilities

On the night of April 20 during a missile attack on Mykolaiv, troops of the Russian Federation hit a TV tower.

Due to the night shelling with Hails, Zelenodolsk in Dnipropetrovsk region was left without light and water for some time.

To the south of Izyum, the invaders were able to enter two villages: Dibrovne and Nova Dmytrivka, at a distance of 15 km from the town of Barvinkove. At the same time, the village of Dovgenke, for which fighting has been going on for the second week, is still under the control of the Armed Forces.

The rashists advanced west of Kreminna and advanced towards Lyman, 30 km away from Slovyansk and Svyatogorsk.

The invader tried to gain a foothold in the western and northwestern parts of Rubizhne. Didn't succeed. It also carried out unsuccessful assault operations in the direction of Novotoshkivske.

The Russians resumed the offensive in the direction of Gulyaipole and Temyrivka, but without success.

Kharkiv is under constant heavy fire.

Military map of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces

In Mariupol, servicemen of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade, together with other units of the Armed Forces and the National Guard, successfully conducted a joint special operation. They broke through the encirclement, went to the coastline and released the border guards and police who were defending there, but they ran out of ammunition. After that, everyone was able to return to the Azovstal plant. The number of defenders of the plant increased to more than 2 thousand soldiers.

Unexpectedly, Putin announced the cessation of the offensive on Mariupol. He will only block and evacuate civilians. This is probably due to some negotiations to save the lives of foreigners at the Azovstal plant.

In the area of the settlement of Stara Gnylytsia, south of Chuhuiv, the invaders carried out unsuccessful offensive operations. As a result of the fire defeat, the invader suffered losses and retreated.

The evacuation of Mariupol residents will continue on April 21. Four buses managed to leave the previous day.
