This was announced by the head of the Blue/Yellow organization Jonas Ohman.
"On February 24, they should be at least in Lithuania, which means that they will be in Ukraine very soon. Logistics from Lithuania is very fast," he said.
Ohman noted that when acquiring equipment such as radars, procurement, production and delivery are very fast.
"We already have most of them physically, they are, let's say, in a warehouse. And, depending on how much we can collect, I hope it will be about EUR 10 million, we may have to wait a little bit, but most of them are already there, physically," said the head of the organization supporting Ukraine.
Lithuanians donated almost EUR million for radars for Ukraine in less than 2 weeks.
"There is only one thing, those papers, documents that always disrupt (plans) a little bit, but everything has already been launched and procurement is already underway. There shouldn't be any major problems," assured the head of Blue/Yellow.
According to the initiator of the Strong Together (Stiprūs kartu) project, journalist Edmundas Jakilaitis, the pace of donations has slowed down, but the enthusiasm, in his opinion, is still high.
