"Likely air attack launched from sea": military expert Stupak on explosions in Sevastopol
Military expert Ivan Stupak believes that Ukraine could have attacked the Sevastopol shipyard with Scalp or Storm Shadow missiles from the Black Sea
He shared his opinions with Espreso TV.
"A week ago, our intelligence officers conducted a remarkable operation to capture the so-called Boyko towers in the Black Sea. Indeed, we have no physical control over these facilities. However, our intelligence officers have successfully looted and taken something and destroyed something. Therefore, Russia has lost its ears and eyes in this part of the Black Sea," explained Stupak.
The expert suggested that the ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet were attacked from the sea
"In my opinion, first, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine carried out an operation to destroy the technical means of Russian intelligence on the so-called Boyko towers, and then an attack was launched on Sevastopol. This is just my guess, but it is quite likely that the attack was carried out by our aircraft from the Black Sea. Our aircraft could have flown over Boyko's towers, made a hook, and then headed toward Sevastopol and launched missiles. In particular, these could have been Scalp or Storm Shadow missiles. Obviously, the Russians were expecting a strike from another territory, but it came from a place they did not expect," he added.
