Kinburn Spit situation is tricky, battles are raging on

Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, announced this during the telethon broadcast on January 27.
"There are ongoing hostilities, skirmishes, and artillery shelling. We cannot connect with the Kinburn Spit by land. This complicates the situation. The Kinburn spit must be liberated, as well as a very large part of the territory of the Kherson region on the left bank. I think we will manage to do that," he said.
According to him, there are civilians in the temporarily occupied territories, and the Russian invaders are hiding in their houses, which makes it difficult for the military to work.

On January 8, the spokeswoman of the OC South Natalia Humeniuk stated that none of the parties has full control over the Kinburn Spit, the enemy is shelling the opposite shore, and the weather is also hindering the liberation operation.
