Russian army loses 980 troops, 20 armored vehicles and 32 artillery systems per day

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on March 13.

The total combat losses of the Russian Federation from February 24, 22 to March 13, 24 are estimated to be:

• artillery systems - 10,554 (+31)

General Staff's report: 91 clashes took place in the frontline over the last day: Ukraine repelled 26 attacks in the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka sectors

Thus, according to the General Staff, the operational situation has not changed in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group in the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 4 Russian attacks near Synkivka and Tabaivka in Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces rebuffed 7 attacks near the towns of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Terny, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukraine's Defense Forces repelled 7 Russia's attacks in the areas east of Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Andriivka and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group, in the Avdiivka direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repulsed 26 hostile attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke and Pervomayske in the Donetsk region.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces are holding back the Russian troops in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region, where they, with the support of aviation, tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian units 26 times.

In the Orikhiv direction, Russia attacked the positions of Ukraine's defenders 12 times near Staromayorske in Donetsk region, west of Verbove and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, Russia does not abandon its intention to drive Ukrainian units from their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, during the day, 3 unsuccessful assaults on the positions of Ukrainian troops were made.

Russian army launched 10 missile and 84 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine

Over the past day, 91 combat engagements took place.

In total, the Russian troops launched 10 missile and 84 air strikes, firing 123 times from multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troops' positions and localities.

Over the past day, 5 localities in Sumy region, 6 in Kharkiv region, 2 in Luhansk region, 14 in Donetsk region and 2 in Zaporizhzhia region were subjected to air strikes.

More than 110 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed an artillery depot and 2 Russian air defense systems

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 9 areas of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration.

Missile troops struck 3 areas of personnel concentration, an artillery unit, an ammunition depot and 2 Russian air defense systems.

• Over the course of the day, March 12, 78 combat clashes took place at the front. The Russian army attempted to attack the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in seven areas. Mostly in the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka sectors.
