Over the past 24 hours, the invading Russian army lost at least 1,210 soldiers in Ukraine. In addition, the Ukrainian military destroyed a dozen enemy vehicles

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on June 8.
The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to June 8, 2024, amounted to:
- personnel – about 517,290 (+1,210)
- tanks – 7,843 (+9)
- armored fighting vehicles – 15,105 (+9)
- artillery systems – 13,533 (+36)
- MLRS – 1,095
- air defense systems – 834 (+1)
- aircraft – 357
- helicopters – 326
- UAVs operational-tactical level – 10,945 (+59)
- cruise missiles – 2,277 (+7)
- warships/boats – 28 (+1)
- submarines – 1
- vehicles and fuel tanks – 18,484 (+68)
- special equipment – 2,248 (+10)
Over the past day, 90 combat engagements took place at the front. Ukraine's Defense Forces are repelling enemy attacks in 7 directions. Russia suffers significant losses.
