Russia suffers setbacks near Novooleksandrivka, Ukrainian Armed Forces hold defense in 7 directions

Russian troops did not conduct any active operations in the Kharkiv direction. Russia is regrouping its troops.  

The situation in the Kupyansk direction is tense. Since the beginning of the day there have been four combat clashes in the areas of Pishchane, Druzheliubivka and Hrekivka. Assault operations continue. Ukrainian positions were not lost. 

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defenders fought off three attacks near Terny and Torske, without success for the Russian army. A firefight near Terny continues.

The situation in the Kramatorsk direction is somewhat tense. Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian troops have repelled two Russian attempts to advance near Klishchiivka. A battle continues near Kalynivka. 

In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders are taking measures to prevent the advance of Russian troops deep into Ukrainian territory. One Russian assault failed near Novooleksandrivka. Five more Russian attacks are ongoing near Yevhenivka, Sokil and Krasnohorivka. The situation is under control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to the updated information, the Russian forces suffered losses in the Pokrovsk direction over the last day: 249 Russian soldiers were killed and wounded, four armored combat vehicles, an artillery system and a vehicle were destroyed.  

In the Kurakhove direction, the Russian assault near Heorhiivka was unsuccessful.

According to updated information, Russian losses in this direction over the past day amounted to: 85 soldiers killed and wounded, two tanks, three armored combat vehicles, two artillery systems and seven vehicles destroyed.  

In the Orikhiv direction, the Russian aggressor made one unsuccessful attack in the vicinity of Kopani. Ukrainian positions were not lost.

In total, over the past day, the Russian aggressor launched one missile attack on Ukrainian troops' positions and populated areas using two missiles, 44 air strikes using 80 combat aircraft, used 1436 kamikaze drones, including 22 Shaheds, 12 Lancets and 1401 FPV drones, and fired over 3900 times from various types of weapons, including 93 times using multiple launch rocket systems.

Ukrainian Defense Forces strike two places with Russian troops' concentration

Over the past day, Ukrainian Air Force, missile forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit two Russian places where personnel were concentrated, an air defense facility, a radar, an ammunition depot, one area of military equipment concentration and one artillery firing position each.

Over the past day, the total losses of the Russian invaders amounted to about 1,080 people killed and wounded. The Russian troops also lost 6 tanks, 20 armored combat vehicles, 64 artillery systems, 40 tactical UAVs, two air defense systems, one ship, 56 vehicles and eight pieces of special equipment.
