Over the past day, June 28, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,070 Russian soldiers, seven tanks and dozens of other pieces of Russian equipment

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces informed about this in a morning report.
The total combat losses of the Russian Federation from February 24, 2022 to June 29, 2024 were approximately:
- personnel - about 541,560 (+1,070) people
- tanks - 8,073 (+7)
- armored combat vehicles - 15,505 (+25)
- artillery systems - 14,480 (+57)
- MLRS - 1,109 (+0)
- air defense systems - 871 (+0)
- aircraft - 360 (+0)
- helicopters - 326 (+0)
- UAVs of operational and tactical level - 11,538 (+29),
- cruise missiles - 2,331 (+2),
- ships/boats - 28 (+0)
- submarines - 1 (+0)
- motor vehicles and tank trucks - 19,568 (+54)
- special equipment - 2,436 (+5).
On Friday, June 28, 140 combat engagements took place at the frontline. Russia intensified activity in the Siverskyi and Pokrovsk directions.
