Ukrainian army destroys 770 Russian soldiers, 36 artillery systems, aircraft - General Staff

Over the last day, 84 combat clashes took place at the front. Ukraine's forces repelled 82 Russian attacks in 7 directions. Meanwhile, the Russian army has lost over 409,000 soldiers in two years of full-scale invasion

The total combat losses of the Russian Federation from 24.02.22 to 24.02.24 are estimated at:

Frontline situation: Russian troops tried to break through Ukraine's defense 44 times in the Marinka sector

Thus, according to the General Staff, the operational situation has not changed in the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus.

In the northeastern border area, the Russian army maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group in the Kupyansk direction, the Russian troops made 2 unsuccessful attacks on Ukrainian positions near Synkivka, Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, Ukraine's soldiers repelled two Russian attacks near Terny, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repulsed 9 enemy attacks in the areas of Bohdanivka and Ivanivske in the Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, in the area of responsibility of the Tavria operational-strategic group, Ukrainian defenders rebuffed 9 attacks in the vicinity of Lastochkyne, Sieverne and Pervomaiske.

In the Marinka direction, the Defense Forces are holding back the Russian troops in the areas of Heorhiivka, Pobieda and Novomykhailivka, where they tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops 44 times.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the Russian enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, 8 Russian attacks were repelled near Robotyne.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa operational-strategic group in the Kherson direction, Ukraine's soldiers keep holding their positions and repelling Russia's attacks. Suffering losses, the Russian army does not give up trying to displace Ukrainian units. Thus, over the past day, they made 8 unsuccessful assaults on the left bank of the Dnipro River.

Russia attacks Ukraine with Shahed drones at night: Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 6 Russian manpower concentration areas

In total, the Russian Federation launched 10 missile strikes, 93 airstrikes, and 141 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

At night, the Russian forces attacked Ukraine once again, using 12 Shahed UAVs. Air defense units destroyed all 12 'kamikaze' drones.

Air strikes hit 3 settlements in the Luhansk region, 14 in the Donetsk region, and 3 in the Zaporizhzhia region.

More than 110 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions came under Russian artillery fire.

At the same time, over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 6 manpower concentration areas and 3 Russian anti-aircraft missile systems.

And Ukraine's missile launchers struck 4 manpower concentration areas, a command center, 3 artillery units, an ammunition depot, and 2 Russian Buk-M3 SAM radars.
