Kherson’s Antonivsky Bridge remains hotspot – local official Khlan
Deputy of the Kherson Regional Council Serhiy Khlan noted that all attempts by the occupying Russian forces to drive Ukraine’s military out of their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River are fruitless
He shared the information on the air of the Espreso TV channel.
"Antonivsky Bridge remains a hotspot. All Russian attempts to drive Ukraine’s military out of their positions on the left bank and hold some of the islands near Antonivsky Bridge are unsuccessful," Khlan said.
The Kherson deputy also added that the occupying Russian forces tried to drive Ukraine’s troops from the left bank of the Dnipro with powerful artillery strikes and air bombs from Oleshky, but Ukrainian defenders are well entrenched.
"This strategic point is held by the Ukrainian military, all Russian attempts are in vain," Khlan stressed.
