Woman killed as Russia shells village in Kherson region
The Russian occupation army shelled a village in the Kherson region, resulting in the death of a woman
The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin reported the information on June 24.
According to him, the tragedy occurred in the village of Havrylivka. At the time of the Russian shelling, the woman was in her home.
"The Russian military shelled Havrylivka in the Novooleksandrivska community. A 71-year-old woman was killed in her home as a result of the enemy attack," Prokudin wrote.
Later, the Kherson Regional State Administration informed that the occupation forces had attacked a residential building in the village of Ponyativka from a drone.
A 52-year-old man was injured in his own home. He sustained contusion, shrapnel wounds to the neck, explosive and skull injuries. The victim was taken to a hospital in moderate condition. He is being provided with the necessary assistance.
Later, Prokudin said that a man was also wounded in Havrylivka. He is in the hospital. Russians fired about 40 shells at the village.
"The photo shows a house in Havrylivka where Russian artillery killed a local resident a few hours ago. In total, the invaders fired four dozen shells at the village. It also became known that a 63-year-old man was wounded. He was taken to the hospital with a concussion," he wrote.
