Karlivka, Donetsk region, becomes a hot spot - Colonel Dmytrashkivskyi

"The enemy keeps trying to attack Avdiivka and Marinka. To these areas is now added Karlivka, where the enemy is also trying to attack. Over the last day the enemy attacked these areas 23 times. At night, the enemy launched 10 assault attacks," noted Dmytrashkivskyi.

According to the spokesperson, Russian forces are launching cannon and rocket artillery, firing not only at Ukrainian positions but also at settlements.

"The enemy lost about 2 companies of personnel, 8 Russian servicemen surrendered. The 155th Marine Brigade of the Russian Federation and the 200th Brigade have been withdrawn from the combat zone where they lost their combat capability," added Dmytrashkivskyi.

• Russian troops are putting all their main efforts into the offensive in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to repel more than 70 attacks there yesterday.
