Kadyrov stated that Chechen unit Akhmat has been deployed to Bahmut sector
Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov announced that the special unit Akhmat has been deployed to the Bahmut direction: Kadyrov's fighters are allegedly located in Klishchiivka.

Kadyrov stated that on July 9, he had a conversation with Apti Alaudinov, who commands the Akhmat special unit, regarding the situation in Klishchiivka. Alaudinov sent a video, claiming that he himself was leaving the area after inspecting the service of Kadyrov's fighters in the settlement.
"The Akhmat special unit, under the command of Apti Alaudinov, has been transferred by the command of the special operation to the challenging Bahmut direction. This rotation demonstrates the trust of the General Staff and the high combat readiness of the unit," stated Kadyrov.
- On July 5, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were making progress in the area of Klishchiivka on the Bahmut direction. Currently, they are consolidating their positions.
- Later, serviceman Andriy Babichev from the 93rd Cold Yar Brigade revealed in an interview with Espreso that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have taken strategically important heights in Klishchiivka.
