Japan imposes new sanctions against Russia that ban aviation components export
Japan’s Cabinet of Ministers has introduced a new package of sanctions against Russia, which bans the export of components for aviation, drones and the space industry
This was reported by the Government of Japan.
"We will implement measures based on the Law on Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade in connection with the Russian invasion of Ukraine," the statement said.
The new package of restrictions will reportedly come into force on April 7.
The list of goods banned for export to the country sponsoring terrorism includes:

steel and products

aluminum and products
-
construction machinery - hydraulic excavators, bulldozers, etc.

engines for aviation
-
electrical equipment and its parts, radio equipment for navigation, generators
-
aircraft and spacecraft, spare parts for them, as well as UAVs
-
optical, photographic, measuring equipment and parts for it
-
all toys with wheels, as well as prefabricated models and layouts, puzzles and jigsaw puzzles
Earlier, on February 5, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved the decision of the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions against the Russian nuclear industry. And the head of the Ministry of Energy, Halushchenko, called on the world to extend sanctions to the Russian nuclear industry, as it should not receive excessive profits that are used to finance the war against Ukraine.
