Italy provides dozens of M109Ls to Ukraine, some already deployed to front line
At the Italian government's initiative, dozens of M109 self-propelled artillery systems have been repaired and supplied to Ukraine, some of them are already at the front line
The Italian news outlet La Repubblica reported the information.
The outlet noted that two days ago, self-propelled artillery systems were filmed at the Udine railway station, Italy, and for several weeks now, videos from Ukraine have been appearing where M109Ls are firing on Russian positions.
"Among those already at the front line and those filmed in Udine, there are at least 30 self-propelled artillery systems, while some sources say that the number is double: a total of 60 vehicles have already been handed over to Ukrainian troops or will be handed over in the near future," the journalists added.
