Iran's Foreign Ministry denies supplying drones to Russia for use in Ukraine
Iran has officially denied supplying the Russian Federation with drones, which it actively uses in the war, attacking Ukraine.
This was stated by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Nasser Kanaani, Xinhua reports.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran considers the published information about the delivery of Iranian drones to Russia for use in the Ukrainian conflict unfounded and does not confirm these data," he noted.
Kanaani emphasizes that Iran firmly maintains a position of neutrality and non-interference.
"From the very beginning of the conflict, we have always declared our principled and clear position of active neutrality and disagreement with the war, emphasizing the need to achieve a political solution without violence," he added.
