Iran wants to renounce Russia, stop supplying drones for war on Ukraine
Iran intends to abandon Russia, so is asking it to help disperse protests, knowing that Russia is unable to do this
Mohammad Farjallah, editor-in-chief of "Ukraine in Arabic" portal, said this live on air of Espreso TV channel.
According to him, Iran itself can learn to suppress protests. However, after giving Russia drones for attacks against Ukraine and seeing the result, country's authorities realized they had intervened in war they did not want.
"Iran is looking for a way out of this game and wants to stop transferring drones to Russia. This does not mean that Iranian regime has become good. However, in order to abandon Moscow, it needs an excuse. Today, the most important task of Iranian regime is internal confrontation with protesters, so it set a goal (Russia, - ed.), which is impossible to achieve".
Mohammad Farjallah noted: Iran understands that Russian Federation will not help, as it previously helped disperse protests in Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Sudan. In Iran, Russia does not have the tools, influence and power for this. Iranian protests have also ceased to be controlled.
"Tehran regime follows the example of Persian trickery - it sets tasks that Moscow cannot fulfill. As a result, Iranian regime will slowly refuse to provide Russia with drones and ballistic missiles that it may have planned to transfer. We already know various data from CIA that, most likely, this deal is also in disarray.
