Investigators of the International Criminal Court are already collecting evidence in Ukraine: Zelensky spoke about the work to bring the Russian Federation to justice
An investigative group of the International Criminal Court has begun work in Ukraine, which, together with Ukrainian law enforcement officers, is collecting evidence of war crimes by the invaders
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in a video message.
"It is important that the investigation team of the International Criminal Court begins its work in Ukraine, which, together with our law enforcement officers, is already collecting evidence and facts of war crimes of the invaders on the territory of our state", the president said.
Zelensky noted that he had a conversation with the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Karim Khan, who is already in Ukraine and has started work.
"We will step up work to bring the invaders to justice. There should be an international tribunal. For everything they have done against Ukraine. Against our people. For every act of terrorism by Russian troops on the territory of our state", the head of state said.
