The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, reports that power lines and the building of the village council were damaged as a result of the morning shelling.
"Consequences of the morning shelling of Myropillya. Russians fired self-propelled guns there in the morning, 22 airstrikes over the settlement. The village council building and the surrounding area were damaged. There is still no electricity in part of Myropillya, but work is in progress," he noted.
In addition, the houses of civilians were destroyed.
"10 houses of civilians were damaged. Various degrees of damage: from broken windows and roofs to an almost destroyed house in one of the families. Fragments of Russian shells killed a bull and ducks," Zhyvytskyi added.
None of the civilians were injured.

It is noted that yesterday, September 4, invaders from the territory of Russia continued to shell the Ukrainian border.
"The enemy inflicted fire damage using mortars and barrel artillery. The Myropillya, Znob-Novhorodske, Esman, Seredyna-Buda, and Bilopillya communities of the Sumy region, as well as the Novhorod-Siverskyi community of the Chernihiv region came under enemy fire. On the territory of Novhorod-Siverskyi community at seven in the morning and after eight o'clock, the Russian occupiers fired with mortars and barrel artillery - in total, almost a quarter of a hundred shells were fired from the Russian village of Sluchovsk. The Znob-Novgorodske community was under mortar fire - 15 attacks. The power line was damaged. In the afternoon and in the evening, the Russians shelled the territory of the Shalyhyne community with mortars - a total of 24 hits. The Russians also shelled Esman and Seredyna-Buda communities with mortars with 4 and 6 explosions, respectively," the report says.
Also, on the night of September 5, the enemy from the Russian settlement of Krasnooktyabrskiy shelled the territory of the Bilopillya community with barrel artillery and 120-mm mortars; about a dozen hits were counted. As a result of the shelling, residential buildings, local residents' equipment, and power lines were damaged.
Later on, the Russian occupiers fired a 120-mm cannon at the territory of the Myropillya community, and nearly a dozen mines landed. The fire was coming from the Russian settlement of Guevo.
Fortunately, in all cases there were no casualties.
